Parties and Scope

These terms apply between Mindfultasknotes, situated at 24 De Montfort Street, Leicester, LE1 7GB, and the client commissioning timber repair, cabinet maintenance, or assessment services. We undertake only the restorative and joinery tasks detailed in our formal written quotation.

Booking and Quotes

All preliminary quotes provided via telephone, digital guide, or email remain indicative until an in-person assessment or definitive material review has been completed. A binding agreement is formed once the client accepts our formal written estimate in writing or by email.

Performance of the Work and Access to the Premises

When work occurs on your premises, the client must grant safe access, suitable working room, and adequate lighting. When items are collected for workshop attention, our staff will photograph the piece upon collection and return it at an agreed appointment slot.

Prices, Payment After Completion and Invoices

All quoted prices reflect the full cost of the agreed craftsmanship. Payment is due strictly upon completion and your inspection of the furniture, payable by cash on completion or by immediate bank transfer against our written invoice. We do not accept credit card or telephone card payments.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule a scheduled home appointment without penalty provided at least twenty-four hours notice is given. Cancellations with less notice may incur a modest call-out fee to cover scheduled travel and van routing in the Leicester district.

Liability, Insurance and Complaints

Mindfultasknotes maintains comprehensive public liability and workshop insurance for customer property under our care. In the rare event that a client is dissatisfied with a finish or mechanical repair, notification must be given within fourteen days so our craftsman can re-inspect and make fair amends.

Governing Law

These terms and any contracts formed with Mindfultasknotes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
