Pricing & Payment Terms
We believe in clear, unvarnished pricing without hidden workshop surcharges or unexpected additions. Every commission is preceded by a clear written estimate based on our standard hourly rates and material allowances.
How prices are set
The final sum is confirmed after an in-person examination or detailed photographic appraisal. The quoted figure covers all agreed workshop labour, consumable finishes, traditional glues, and collection where explicitly specified.
Payment methods
Payment is received in cash upon completion or through bank transfer against our issued invoice. Card details are never gathered through this website.
- Cash on completion
- Bank transfer against invoice
Invoicing
Invoices are issued digitally or in hard copy upon final inspection and delivery of the restored furniture. Payment terms are due upon completion of the work or within seven days for approved corporate accounts.
Deposits and materials
For larger commissions exceeding three hundred pounds, or where custom timbers and period brassware must be purchased, we request a twenty percent deposit prior to commencing work.
Late payment
Invoices unpaid after thirty days incur statutory late payment interest at four percent above the Bank of England base rate.
